Chess is a game played by people of all age groups. The game is played over a board by necessary of two people. This involves the elements of a royal kingdom and its defenses, such as guards, where the goal is to protect the King and the Queen by the opposition. Chess requires a clever and keen observant mind to formulate different strategies. This is the kind of a game which can take hours of strategy formulations.

Scrabble is yet another board game but is unique in its own way. The game requires a fresh and sharp vocabulary, ready to be spilled when the alphabet tiles are in your favor. Basically, Scrabble is a word game which requires 2-4 players. The players score when they arranging the alphabet tiles onto a board divided into a grid of squares. These tiles, placed in the order of crossword puzzles, should form words are known and are included in the standard dictionary.

Carrom is another board game but the board is made out of plywood and is larger than the previous two. In the game a disk is struck by flicking the finger, to hit the lighter, carrom men. These are then pushed towards the four corner pockets. Almost like snooker, the player needs to put the nine carrom men and the queen (consisting of most score points) before the opponent does.

Custom Playing cards are one of the most fun games to have existed. A deck of poker cards serves to play a number of games with, each having their own set of specific rules. It contains four shapes heart, spades, diamond and clubs, each available from the numbers 2 till 10 and an A, a King, a Queen, and a Joker. Along with great luck, Playing cards require a keen observing and a sharp decision making mind. It is mostly associated with gambling as it is majorly played in casinos, however, it can be as innocent as any other board game. 

  1. Monopoly

Monopoly is again a board game. In this game, the players roll two dice to move around the game board which consists of empty plots of a town. As the game propels, players buy trade properties, and even developing them with plastic red houses and green hotels. Paper money can be gained or lost by Chance and Community Chest cards, and in the worst case scenario, players end up in jail. The game has numerous rules but the goal is yet to bankrupt the opponent. A fun game, challenging our mental management abilities.
